Key Changes Under New Code

  • Wages for PF/ESIC/Gratuity = max(Basic + DA, 50% of Gross)
  • Gratuity provision added at 4.81% (15/312) to CTC
  • ESI uses Math.ceil for contribution rounding
  • Fixed-term employees: gratuity eligible after 1 year
